Its been more than 2 years that i am in chennai. Being a delhi born n bred girl, I have always found it hard to survive in a city like chennai.
Why is it so difficult, afterall it is one of the BIG Metro city!??!

One: The slow pace, Two: Self centered - Ego cententric people, Three: The climate, Four: Shortage of Shopping centers, Five: The horrible-HORRIBLE Auto Drivers..... and the list goes on!
Why the Slow Pace??
Coz' driving in chennai roads is a patience-testing experience!! Even if the whole road ahead is empty, people dont move beyond the 30KM/Hour speed limit!!! Helloooo???!! On top of it, they drive in the middle of the road. YOU HONK-HONK, still they will not bother to give you a side!!!
Thats my slow pace problem!!
Why Self centered-ego centeric people...??
O Yeah...! Coz' i find most of the people with too much pride to be down to earth. Never seen anyone making a joke on himself and giving his companion a good laugh. Come to think of laugh, rarely seen anyone having a hearty laugh around here. Provided they are not drunk!! Only drunkards have a good laugh here!! Normal people like me are not supposed to be having a fun time. Being happy and gay is something to be frowned upon!
Now comes the Climate!! The lesser said the better...Coz' already a lot has been said about it.
Will move on to other problems!!
Shortage of Shopping centers...!! The few Malls around, are toooooo crowded to step-in. Even on a Monday Morning, you can find lotsa people wandering around. And the climate makes it too difficult to shop in any non-conditioned shopping places like T. Nagar. Now dont get any ideas, they too are over crowded with no parking place after like 10A.M....!!! So chennai is in desperate need for places to hang-out and shop!
Now comes the worst-worst-est problem in chennai....!! AUTOS and AUTO-DRIVERS. They the worst kind of breed any human can evolve to....!Mean, rude, M*****R F******G B*****Ds!!!!!
Cant the Govt. just throw these autos along with their drivers off the streets!! Plssss.....We would rather walk than take an auto!! Coz' they are a nuisance to people who drive vehicles around them and nuisance to people sitting inside one of them. Not only they ask outrageous sums of money for a ride, they are foul-mouthed too. The moment you refuse to pay their desired amount, they will spit some shit on you and move on. Hate 'em. Hate 'em. One and ALL!
There are many more problems in the city i Live-in.
Just Live-in.... Dont belong here. Dont own here. Nothing beyond the present.
Hopefully chennai will become a better city.
Or may be i will get used to its ways!!
Hey chennaiites dont get all worked-up, there are a lot of good things too.
May be i will explore that in the next post.
Today i am in a mood to just crib my time away!!!
